About this site
Editorial Policy.
This page explains how the content on rouell.com is produced and maintained, so you can judge how far to rely on it.
1. Who is responsible
Every page and article on this site is written, reviewed and published by Rouell Rodrigues, a web developer and digital consultant based in Mumbai, India, with more than 18 years of experience in web development, IT operations and regulatory compliance. His background is on the experience page. I take responsibility for what is published here.
2. What I write about
I write about the areas I work in: web development, SEO, website performance and security, databases, and practical IT and compliance topics for small businesses. I do not publish on subjects where I have no direct experience.
3. How content is produced
- Guidance is based on hands-on work with real websites, systems and clients, not on summaries of other people’s articles.
- Technical claims are checked against official documentation or by testing them before publication.
- Where I rely on an outside source, such as a law, a standard or a vendor document, I link to it.
- Statistics and results from my own projects are described as they happened. I do not invent figures, testimonials or case studies.
4. Use of AI tools
I may use AI tools to help with research, drafting and editing. Nothing is published without my review, and I am accountable for its accuracy and for any errors.
5. Updates
Web technology, search guidelines and regulations change. Each page shows the date it was last updated at the bottom of the page. I revise pages when something material changes and remove content that is no longer accurate.
6. Corrections
If you find an error or an out-of-date statement, please tell me at hello@rouell.com or through the contact page. I review every report, correct confirmed mistakes as soon as I can, and note significant corrections on the page.
7. Independence and advertising
Opinions on tools, platforms and providers are my own. If a link is sponsored, paid or an affiliate link, or if I have a commercial relationship with a company I mention, I say so on the page. I do not accept payment to change what I write.
8. Client work and privacy
I describe client projects only with permission, and I do not publish confidential or personal information. See the Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
